Arranging a medical consultation does not commit you to anything other than attending the appointment. There is no obligation to proceed with treatment. After your plastic surgeon has evaluated your concerns and desires, determined if you are an acceptable candidate for the surgery, they will discuss with you an appropriate course of treatment, the expected outcomes and potential risks involved. The decision to proceed is entirely yours. You should only make your proceed after evaluating all the information and deciding what is right for you.
